Grant Information

The Ann B. Zekauskas Family Foundation awards grants to verified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations across the United States whose work aligns with the Foundation’s charitable purpose. We welcome applications from nonprofit organizations whose missions, programs, or proposed projects advance one or more of our three funding priorities:

  • Nutrition education

  • Improving access to food

  • Advancing careers in the culinary arts

Organizations with broader missions may also be eligible if their proposed projects directly support one or more of these priorities. For example, a school may qualify for funding for a specific initiative focused on nutrition education, improving access to food, or culinary arts training.

Because the Foundation’s grantmaking is dedicated to these three areas, we are unable to consider proposals that fall outside our established funding priorities. We encourage prospective applicants to review these guidelines carefully to determine whether their organization and proposed project align with the Foundation’s mission before submitting an application.

Application Timeline

Applications are no longer being accepted for 2027 awards. Information will be available in June about the application process for consideration in 2028.

Due to the high volume of requests we receive, the Foundation is unable to provide individualized guidance regarding application eligibility or project alignment, or accommodate meeting requests. Only grant finalists will be contacted directly.

We appreciate your interest in the Ann B. Zekauskas Family Foundation and your commitment to strengthening communities across the United States.
